I want to run away, away from this world of reality. Why is there so much deceptions and lies in this world. It is really hard to tell what is the truth and what are lies in every sentence each person say. I do not know whether to trust or not to. Why is it always the topic on "money" in this realistic world. Without it, you can't do anything nor survived. Is this the way of life for the current generation where almost everyone is taking things for granted and only realised the importance of it when things happened. To hell with tutorials, lectures, lecturers and tutors who make life more difficult for us without realising it and yet being smug about it. I am hating it. I want to sleep on and on, to another world of mine own.

It has been a week since I last blogged. Anyway, nothing much had happen this week. Just went school as normal with exception of Thursday. Thursday was Union day and all lessons are cancelled from 1130 to 1430 and coincidentally, my lesson ends at 1430 so I end lesson at 1130. Rush down for treatment at 1230 before going Compass point to meet Elaine. Had the student set lunch at Jack’s Place but it was disappointing, especially with the serving. It was rather small. Thereafter, we went back to her house and start doing homework. At least, we managed to accomplish something at the end of the day instead of doing nothing. =). The home journey was alright as the bus was rather fast. Just that from Bishan to Thomson, the whole bus consists of only me and the bus driver, and the road there was rather dark so it was kind of eerie.

Yesterday was a busy day. Started my day by going for treatment, having assam fish for lunch, orchard to run some errands, kfc mash potato for “tea” and back home for the finals of campus superstar and had a late dinner. Went airport to pick dad up ard 11 plus… so tired. I was forced to accompany my mum. Haha. The journey was hilarious. I kept like laughing at my mum nervousness as she keep asking where to turn and stuffs as well as her speed limit. Haha. I am so evil. Reach home around 1230am and talk a bit before going to bed. I am so tired. It had been a while since I slept so late. Normally, I would have slept by 11pm. He bought back a box of chewing gum, 2 converse shoes for my brother, a bag each for both my mum and sister and a swatch for me. =)

I am currently still slacking a lot. No mood to do anything at all. I have not even started anything. Feeling very disappointed with myself for behaving this way. Headache is back again. =(

Add/drop period is over, timetable is finalised after a torturous consideration. Somehow, i realised that i still got no idea who to talk to when i needed one but yup, i manage to talk to some before deciding to drop my jap elective. At least i can concentrate on my cores which prove to be too much for me to handle after these 2 weeks of lecture as i spent quite alot time slacking still as i failed to get into the right mood to study. I was just too tired to hold on. Was physically and mentally tired that i really want to give everything up. Hasnt been thinking much of the future as i foresee none. Only looking forward what would happen tomorrow or the week and nothing further. I m just too tired to think any further.

Yesterday

Finally, i went queenway to get my new pair of running shoes after my totally cannot make it after Darwin. Hehe. No more excuse to say no to exercises/sports. Had dinner at ikea too. I just emjoyed walking the show room, looking at the possible items i would want to have in my dream home. Hehe.

My new pair of shoes =)

Basil Alcove

Visited Basil Alcove yesterday at middle road for dinner in lieu of Ellyn birthday celebration. The food was great. Appetisers seems to taste better than the main course but both are nice. =)
We ordered the 3 types of pastas in menu as well as 3 appetisers where the Caesar salad seems to be the most popular among the us followed by the tomato bruschetta. The chicken caesar salad was just right with the amount of dressing as well as the chicken being grilled just right.
The smoke duck with zuchinni is to my liking as well. It was tender and sweet yet it do not have the overpowering duck taste that i used to hate. The three types of pastas we ordered includes bacon and mushroom aglio, brewurtz with cream and shrimp with orange and basil sauce. Forgotten to take a picture of the brewurtz with cream as iwas too hungry to remember to take a photo. =p The spagetti was cook just right. For us, one portion per person is a tad too much for us. 2 sharing one would be just right as we also enjoyed some appetizers earlier. Total cost of the meals including 5 soft drink is abt 54 which i would not consider too expensive for the standard and the quality of the food.

Smoke Duck... Looks very good.

Thereafter, we proceed to raffles to catch the fireworks. Met yun at one fullerton where we stand around but the view wasnt that good as we were block by some trees. But nevertheless, it was a spectacular performance. I remember that i watch last year firework with ellyn and sylvia as well. =) Did video it down. Would try to upload soon. Quality isnt that good. After that, we were led to walk all the way down beyood clifford pier before we can get across the road. Slowly, everyone parted ways, leaving me and ellyn to chill alittle before going back home. Wanted tcc but it was full, proceeded to central where i decided to go to the sun and moon dining. I tried the tofu cheesecake which i had craved for a long long time. It was really good. Sorry no pictures. I was too anxious to try it. =x. The cheese isnt too heavy and it was just right. The base was crispy and tasty. Really think it is really good. Shall venture onto others desserts next time. =)Afterall, i am a food lover and i love to try all the different types of food. =) Food, glorious food. =)

Start of the week... long and tiring day. Practically 4.5hr non stop of lectures and tutorial with no time to rest at all... Was alr very shacked in the first hr when the stats lecturer just blabbered on non stop as if she is rushing to give birth like that. Everything she say practically make no sense as she just go on and on without stopping. Ended up talking throughout the lecture. Followed by tech where i lost all the concentration the moment i step in. Jap was ok as there was interaction and was too nervous to be bothered by my tiredness. zzz. Very tiring day. Mug a little thereafter as i tried my stats again. Driving me bonkers as i type this post. Nite. 3 more days to the end of the week! Help!!!!!!!!

Resolution for a new sem

A new Semester has just started. Since the start of the holiday, it was a honeymoon period until the end of week 1 of school. Tutorial starts from tomorrow and yet, i have not gotten the mood to start the battle yet again which would end in 3mths again. For a start, i would be having a 4 days week instead for the first time as year 1 is practically 5 days week due to my elective only. On top of that, i am seriously considering taking 7 modules instead of my usual 6. This means i really need to put in extra effort in all the things i do and of course, not going out to have fun that often. Haha. So please understand if i cannot make it for any outing etc.

Resolution for the school of course starts from NOW...
1. Try to attempt all tutorials before the lessons.
2. Read and understand lectures before the lecture.
3. Review lecture after it on the same day.
4. Mug every weekday. (Would be in sch on tues, wed. Novena/amk mon thur.) Join me if you can. =)

Personal Wishes for the current semester
1. Pass driving test =x
2. Save more money for Norway.
3. Improvement of my condition.
4. Good health.

Hope to attain these in future. =)
1. Take first class seating to travel around the world.
2. Dream house
3. Own car.

Learning to be more independent now as to take care of myself as well as my mum and the home. Somehow, i feel very guilty for being a crouch potato whenever i am at home. Must learn how to help out. =x

Recap of some events this july/august. =)

August 1 - 4

The most recent activity was the trip to bangkok. It is shopping and more shopping for us. Seems that i did not buy enough stuffs tho. Haha. Took cab practically to everywhere to the extent of 6 of us in one cab. Haha. How can you imagine it.

On the first day, we met at the airport at 4.30am to check in for our flight at 6.30am. Arrive at 7.30 am (bkk time) but there was alittle miscommunication regarding transport and resulted in us wasting some time in the airport.

In tiger airbus A320. Look at the space!

Arrive at the hotel at 10 plus i think. After packing up and settling down, we went to MBK , siam centre and followed by platinum. Had a very lousy ramen for lunch. Thereafter, we went to siam centre where we had fondue and waffle for tea time. It was rather cheap for such a sumptous dessert. Headed to platinum thereafter. Platinum still got the most things to buy from but we were late and hence most of the shops were closed. Had dinner at the Platinum food court. Visited Baiyoke Sky Hotel which is the tallest building in Bangkok. The night view was fabulous.

MBK in the background.

Traffic in BKK

Desserts from swensen!!!

View of BKK from 77th storey.

The next day, we visited chinatown. Nth much to get as you have to buy everything in dozens. Went on platinum where we had lunch again at the food court followed by shopping. Dinner at coca. Had the buffet but it was disappointing as compared to last time.

On friday, we went to pratunam area but this time, i didnt really see anything as compared to the last trip. Walked to Big C where we bought tom yam noodles and had a donut feast. Haha. Went back to hotel where we had room service for dinner before proceeding to suan lum nite market for more shopping. A long and tiring night. Played till 4am before catching up on our sleep to prepare ourself for chatuchak!

Chatuchak is simply too big for us to finish walking it. Somehow disappointed that we miss a whole section of it where there is potential buys which i used to cover the last trip. But nevertheless, it was really fun shopping with elaine. Haha. Thereafter, went back to MBK to grab some last minutes snack for the family as well as lunch in the food court. 5Pm and we left the hotel to proceed to the airport for check in. =)

Last shot at the airport.

Note: BK in the airport is very very expensive. =x

P/S: The one and only earring that i bought left only one side. Hah. I drop the other into the sink. Sian. Feel so wasted.

29 July

Had a celebration bbq on this special day to celebrate yan birthday. Much have to be considered in order to make it a smooth celebration. Hehe. Much new ideas about what food to be serve have been unveiled through many msning sessions. Sometimes it is really nice to have such things that keeps everyone together once in a while. =) Not forgetting how we managed to keep the cheesecake from her till it was time for the song. Haha.

BBQ-ing in progress.

Food prepared by us.

A special gift/surprise. Handmade.
